When England’s porters and Imperial Stouts arrived in the Baltic states during the 18th century the local brewmasters began brewing their own variant. This robust, sweet, and smooth beer borrows the deep chocolate roast from the beers that inspired it. Ours borrows from the worlds of ciders and meads by introducing Ontario wildflower honey and apples from an orchard near the brewery to provide a subtle sweetness to an otherwise caramel, toffee, and stone fruit flavoured strong beer.
